Well…. this is a complete 180 from the original. Apparently the original looked like it was straight out of the 1920’s… what? So here’s the pumped up 70’s style (still tried to keep it in my own aesthetic)

This was the fear assignment. My teacher gave each of us an individual assignment and mine was to paint a crowd in some environment in acrylic (seriously… worst art nightmare). I decided to turn this in to a poster for Lollapalooza since I was using reference from a couple years back. I’m pretty happy with it considering I can’t paint to save my life although I put the wrong year :-X it should be 2009.
Oldie but a goodie. Made this as a Christmas present for my friend Yvonne, sorry about the photo quality.
